Hi, my name is Nampoina [Nahm-Pooh-Nah]!
In May 2023 I graduated with a dual Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Design, Innovation & Society (DIS) from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York.
I consider myself a “Full Stack” Design Engineer, meaning I can entwine multiple design functions to form a singular product vision and execute its development. I am also able to communciate effectively between engineering and design groups. I am a strategic problem solver, a product manager, and a strong collaborator.
Additionally, music and the arts have always been a major part of my life. Before graduating I realized I wanted to pursue more creative endeavors, so I pivoted towards creative operations and I am currently kickstarting my career in creative production as an Artistic Planning intern with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Through my role, I have experience with assisting production, budgeting, negotiating artist fees, writing contracts, fulfilling riders, and serving as the primary point of contact for artists to ensure they have an excellent experience. I love what I do and hope to continue my career as a producer!
